Scout Dawson was born and raised in the West Midlands, and began writing fiction as a child. She wrote her first novel in 2006, and has written several novels, novellas and short stories since.
She self-published short novellas Tequila Bartender, and Paradise Incoming under the Pseudonym Alex Tanner, in 2012 and 2013 respectively, as well as short stories The Long Road Home, and Coffee. Whilst Scout’s writing and editing style (and ability) has grown since these releases, they were a good introduction into the world of self-publishing and Scout has left them as ebook releases on Amazon for those interested.
Don’t Eat the Waffles will be her debut full-length novel, released 1st November 2018.
